it's raining.. here and there.. and some places are overflowed. ye, tempat sy selamat, alhamdulillah, kalau tak mcm mane boleh online.. but still, we're having low temperature here. sejuk dowh. last week i had fever.. and penyakit sampingan yg biase melanda bersama demam iaitu selsema dan batuk. now, fever has gone but still sneezing and coughing badly. Allah yg bg mudharat dan Allah saje yg berupaya menariknya semula. oh, i am advised not to expose myself in public too much.. well, i dont feel anything with that larangan coz i am homie, though. hehhe.

ehhem. that is not the topic. actually, i'd like to talk about the Global Warming. err. hey. serius ni. hahha. or dalam bahase melayunya, Pemanasan Global. mmm abis la.. blog ni jadi blog general knowledge plak hahha. ;-p

caution: to some people, they may take this entry so damn boring coz it touches about the global warming issue. i mean it.

huh. what's so boring anyway? it's the Earth we're talking about, the place where we were born, we are living on and we will be buried.. unless u came from CJ7's home, then that's forgiven. duh.

huhu. no la.. nothing so serious this time but just feel like sharing something that WAS my interest back in my secondary skool. during that time, i took note almost every news on environment issues such as global warming, the balance of ecosystem, fish bombing activity and toxicity of air and water. no kidding. i still have that file which fulls of newspaper cuttings and they are still in good condition. and if there was an essay exam coming, be it in BM or english, i'd wish for a topic of environment issue and i would most likely left a question 'what would the Earth look like in 100 years?' and then elaborated it. huhu. layanzz..

u know, this global warming is being discussed throughout the years by most people around the world. are u included? hehhe. tell u one secret, one of my ambitions WAS to be an activist in greening the world and conserving the animals. ;-p

ok. there are just so many things that can be changed as the consequences of the rise of global temperature. the scientists and researchers claim that these WILL BE (Allah punya kuasa semuanya..) happening in this century:

• vanishing of barrier reef (terumbu karang lenyap) - ape masalah kalo tak de terumbu karang?? aha!
  
• Amazon rainforest becoming desert (Hutan hujan Amazon menjadi gurun) - rasenya binatang2 dlm hutan tu akan stay or mati terus or plainly transform into new species just to adapt with the new home..
  
• Sahara desert becoming green (Gurun Sahara menjadi padang hijau) - same mcm td.
  
• melting snow (ais mencair) - oh. bnda pertama dlm fikiran ku adlh banjir besar dan tsunami.
  
• dissapearing of 2,000 Indonesian islands (2,000 kepulauan Indonesia hilang) - effect yg same akan jd pada pulau2 Malaysia tak?

see. tonggang terbalik. err. dont u feel something? anything?? if u totally understand why Allah created their particular roles for the living things on Earth, u will get that 'feel'.

tell u another secret.. ehhem. i hate it everytime my abah bakar sampah kat halaman belakang rumah. aaahhh tak suke. u know, bila abah dah tak de around that place (dah masok rumah ke ape ke), sy akan senyap2, tip-toe pegi amik satu bekas penuh air dan curah atas api tuuu. oh, dah lame dah sy buat keja nih. he knows who does it but what to do, his daughter sayangkan udara yg bersih. hahhaha. and everytime masa driving nampak kenderaan kecil/besar or kilang2 tepi jalan, yg keluarkan asap berlebih2, akan keluarlah perkataan 'eee, pencemaran udara!'. heh. well, smokers pon pencemar udara juga. huh.

mmmm.. oh, mcm mana pula dgn perkara2 yg menjadi pencemar iman?? pencemar amal?? :-|

all the content is referred to an article published in Newspaper Harakah English Section, issue of 2-5 Nov 2009, page N17, entitled 'Ronggeng' and the Mentality of the Malays.

ronggeng??

really, i thought that 'ronggeng' only means 'berfoya-foya/lepak-melepak', i didnt know that the word brings many historical events. hehhe. and i'm not sure if i was actually exposed to this historic info during the class of History back in school. mmm. who cares anyway? huhu.

well. i tried to find this article in Harakah English Section's website, but i couldnt find it. this article was actually written by someone who was sitting to catch a Malay drama entitled 'Sepat Ronggeng' (a type of fish) under the slot of Carekarama, TV3. err.. anybody watched it? me? did not! ;-p

the article says that the drama is about 'an unsuccessful preserved fish teller (penjual ikan jenis sepat ronggeng) named Khatijah who devices a plan to attract customers by using her beauty and the beauty of her young daughters named Zaiton and Zainon'.. and the story goes on, showing how exactly 'ronggeng' activity took place in that malay kampung.

what's that 'ronggeng' activity?? lets read what Wikipedia says about ronggeng.

it's a type of social dance (a very social one) where during a ronggeng performance, the female professional dancers are expected to invite some males in the audience or clients to dance with them as a couple with the exchange of some tips money for the female dancer, given during or after the dance. the couple dances intimately and the female dancer might perform some movements that might be considered erotic.

in the past, the erotic and sexual nuance of the dance has given 'ronggeng' a shady reputation as prostitution disguised in the art of dance.

dalam bahasa Melayunye.. ronggeng ni sejenis tarian yg sosial di mana ketika pertunjukan ronggeng, penari-penari wanita profesional ni akan menjemput beberapa lelaki (yg menjd penonton/pelanggan) utk menari/berdansa bersama-sama sbg pasangan. ketika tarian atau pon slps tarian berlangsung, tips berupa duit akan diberi kpd wanita-wanita tersebut. pasangan-pasangan ini menari dgn intim dan pergerakan joget mereka kelihatan erotik. pada masa tersebut, pergerakan tarian yg erotik dan penuh daya seksual itu membuatkan 'ronggeng' mendapat reputasi yg buruk seolah-olah mencerminkan pelacuran.

ehhem.

the point is.. what's actually the purpose of this old practice (adat lama) being shown to the public? especially to the young generation? to intentionally bring the erotic dance back in our life?? (please, dont..)

the writer says that this older generation's practice (adat zaman dulu) had already been banned. the 1st reason is of course, people mixed freely and the women were dancing erotically. 2nd is because it's an insult (satu penghinaan) to women where they chose men to dance with them and they were being paid for that (mereka dibayar). plus, on stage or in the open, some couples were 'high' (khayal) as they 'berjoget' as though there was no 'hari esok' to the tune of the music.

readers. take this entry as a new general info (new one for me, though). huhhu. i have no specific intention.. but the last part of that article attracted me..

those who taught and introduced things that were forbidden in Islam, not only would they be punished for it; they would be receiving the ill rewards (dosa) of their followers even after their death. those who are associated themselves too has the share to it. if the haram activities they taught were copied and practiced for ten or hundreds of years, just imagine the burden he or she would have to carry in the Hereafter..

dalam bahasa Melayunye.. (sesaja translate), sesiapa yg mengajar dan memperkenalkan perkara2 yg dilarang dlm Islam, bukan saje mereka yg kena hukum kerana perkara tersebut; malah mereka akan menerima dosa para pengikut mereka sehingga terbawa selepas kematian mereka. ini juga terjadi kpd sesiapa yg terlibat secara langsung utk menjalankan perkara-perkara tersebut. jika perkara-perkara tersebut dilatih sehingga 10 atau 100 tahun kemudian, bayangkan beban yg akan dipikul ketika menuju hari akhirat..

this is just to let me think and be worried about the situation of current ummat. bcoz if i feel nothing, i'm doomed. why?

bcoz i understand that if u dont hate those sinful stuff with all your heart, u dont actually have iman inside. err.. (now that really gives me goose-bump)

what do u feel? any worries, maybe? no? not even a little? bcoz nowadays, during reading the newspaper, it's kinda normal if people just say, "mmm, akhir zaman la katakan..." or "ape la nak jadik, insaf la wei..", then continue flipping thru the rest of the pages, without having this feel of worry (until sometimes even the chess and head get aches)..

that is an example of people who just dont get how suffering the ummat is.

rindu bulan lepas

now that Syawal has nearly come to its end..

she lied down on her bed, looking up to the ceiling. merenung ape saje yg ade di atas.. cicak yg sedang berlari2 tu pon dia perhatikan.. cicak tu pon merenung kpdnya. tp fikirannye bukan fikir pasal nape cicak tu tak pegi tmpt lain, sbnrnya dia tgh fikir pasal 'iman dan amal'nya. "what's happening to me?!"

she could feel her heart was being poked, letting out the red blood, like a balloon letting go the air.. she had to do something, or else, it would be empty. or at least there'd be a corner that would have nothing inside. she knew even the small damage part would make a swift change. *sigh*

she caught something. closing her eyes, she mumbled, "dah lama tak nangis..." :-|

yes, dia dah lama dah tak nangis. dah lama tak menangis mengenang dosa! dah lama tak menangis ketika berdoa memohon padaNya! she couldn't remember when was the last time she was drowning with tears, especially during late nights, while other people were drowning with their dreams..

makin mengeras kah hatinya?? makin bergelap kah hatinya??

her friend reminded her something recently. it sounds something like this.. "letak akhirat atas kepala dan letak dunia atas sebelah tangan. bila nmpk diri tu tak stable seolah2 dunia itu mengganggu akhirat maka lepaskan dunia dan fokus pada yg berada atas kepala supaya stable kembali. tp manusia skrng letak akhirat kat atas sebelah tangan dan dunia atas kepala. bila mula tak stable seolah2 akhirat itu mengganggu dunianya, diorg lepaskan akhirat dan terus fokus pada yg berada atas kepala tu..". after a few seconds silent, she asked, "ape ayat seterusnya?". no replied, just a smile, bcoz her friend knew that she actually understood what was it all about.

suddenly, dia rindu bulan Ramadhan yg lepas. "bestnye kalau masih bulan poseee.." HAH! *sigh*

oh.. adekah dia telah dikategorikan sbg sekadar 'hamba Ramadhan', bukannya 'hamba Maha Esa'?

mmmm.. nothing much happening in my life now accept that i'm adding more reading stuff. really pray and hope that i can hold tightly before i'm off to that new place, scheduled in January 2010. actually, i'm not feeling well but stronger enough to make a new entry, hehhe, alhamdulillah. not going to chitchat a lot but just to share something that attracted my attention - tentang riak, salah satu contoh syirik - and it is, 1st, dedicated to myself.. (and i left something at the bottom).

here goes..

Ulama memperincikan riya' kepada beberapa peringkat:

1. Riya' yang jelas iaitu yang menjadi pendorong kuat kepada amalan dan ibadat seseorang. Jika tidak kerana adanya riya', seseorang itu tentu tidak melakukan amal ibadat terbabit.

2. Riya' yang tidak jelas dan tersembunyi. Jika kerana riya' saja dia tidak melakukan ibadat, misalnya seorang yang biasa bersolat tahajud, kadangkala diselubungi kemalasan, tetapi apabila ada teman atau tamu bangun beribadat malam dia menjadi rajin pula.

Ibadatnya itu didorong sedikit oleh riya' yang tidak jelas dari dalam dirinya. Riya' yang tidak jelas ini menurut ulama, tidak membatalkan pahala asal, tetapi menjejaskan nilai pahalanya mengikut kadar riya' terbabit.

me: i remember when i was at kolej matrikulasi. it was my 1st time having to live at hostel and i hated it so much. and.. i was lazy enough to pray, heh. but i HAD TO PRAY since my roommates did that. and.. i also knew there were friends who were having the same situation at that time. hakhakhak.

3. Riya' yang lebih tersembunyi dan terlalu samar. Riya' ini bukan yang mendorong amal ibadat atau berasa ringan untuk beribadat, namun sifat itu terpendam di dalam diri.

Jenis ini hanya boleh diketahui dan dikenali melalui tandanya seperti berasa bangga dengan pujian.

Misalnya, seseorang itu melakukan ibadat secara ikhlas, tanpa ada dorongan riya', malah benci kepada sifat terbabit, tetapi apabila amalannya itu diketahui orang, dia berasa gembira.

Jika gembiranya semata-mata sebagai tabiat fitrah manusiawi dan tidak mengharapkan amalannya itu diketahui orang, riya' seperti ini tidaklah merosakkan pahala amalan terbabit.

Ada yang lebih tersembunyi dari itu, hanya dapat disedari mereka yang mempunyai hati bersih lagi halus sebagaimana diterangkan Rasulullah s.a.w bahawa riya' lebih tersembunyi daripada rayapan kaki semut hitam di waktu malam.

Semua ini untuk menjelaskan betapa perlunya kita sentiasa berwaspada daripada terperangkap dengan riya'.

Jika mengatasi riya' yang jelas, belum tentu terselamat dari riya' yang kurang jelas, malah jika di peringkat terbabit janganlah pula berasa diri terselamat dari segala bentuk riya'.

tapi, mcm mane dgn kes org tu solat dgn ade harapan org kat keliling dia (let say, roommate la, contoh yg senang) pon solat juga (kes dpt roommate malas solat or suke tangguh2)? not only solat la, tapi bnda kebaikan yg lain juge. this person is not trying to be a role model or something but just to invite others to do the same thing.. how's that, ehh??

layan raya

i noticed that the cyberspace was having almost no traffic (talking 'bout my YM, blog, Aeromaniac Club and email) thru out the week of Raya. hehhe. everyone was bz raya-ing. ;-p but, i guess, it's now back to normal.. and hopefully this week ramai start pose-6. isyaaAllah. ehhem..

so, mmmm.. nak cite raye ke?

well, as usual, the family's tradition food during both Aidilfitri and Aidiladha is, soto ayam.. yes, of coz la bersama ketupat rendang daging (altho i prefer rendang ayam) and lemang, alhamdulillah.. and kuih raye. oh, we have 5 types of homemade raye cookies! ade yg based of cornflakes and oats. tart nenas pon ade.. but, the award definitely goes to my 2nd sis-in-law la (the 'raya cookie chef' of the family).. oh, another award goes to Mommy coz kek kismis rebusnye (to MissFB: Mommy said 'rebus' NOT 'kukus') yg amat la berjaya dibuat, alhamdulillah (her assistants were me and Mommy's frens - cikgu salmah and cikgu noriah). hey, 9 hours rebus, beb! hasilnya? sedap banget~

..and the best part was the whole family got together this raya :-) alhamdulillah.. and there are 2 new family members, too - norul qarnain and norul muhammad amin :-) hohoho, ciknas ade 9 org anak buah dah. alhamdulillah. the family is getting bigger. umat nabi bertambah..

suasana di pagi raya? well, takde la melaram sgt. hahha. lps salam, mintak ampun sume, off to surau la. lps solat sunat raye, ade jamuan raye (kat surau gak), alhamdulillah.

..and ciknas tak join bebudak ni main bunga api and mercun coz she's phobia! dia hanya menjadi penonton disebalik tirai pintu. dont laugh. :-0 (alangkah bagusnya duit beli mercun tu sedekah kat ciknas..)

when cousins are at the same place..

malam raye ke-4, ade barbecue raye, beb. 'pemuda harapan' taman ni yg buat, heh. chicken wings bakar la menu utama. then ade sosej, bihun sup (ihsan drpd cikgu sofiah), chips, kacang.. alhamdulillah. simple2 pon orait (dgr cite tmpt bakar tu buat sendiri ptg tu). siap diselangi dgn balingan mercun yg bunga dia pecah cantek tu (ntah ape name mercun yg mahal tuh - see pic below).

oh, how 'bout my frens? mmmm, hanya sempat beraya di rumah sy, rumah MissFB and rumah Ayu.. and got to meet Hidayah, Dahlia, Dilla and Wani - rakan-rakan Convent juge. :-) but, i also miss to see Linda, Zee and Azwa.. and Tiny. maybe Aidiladha dpt jmpa kot, insyaAllah..

oh, we did go visiting our relatives too.. and 'pau' some kuih raye.

somehow, on the 1sy day of Raya, there was this feeling.. rasa membuak2 utk.. mmmm, better keep it to myself. ade 2 jenis feeling sbnrnya, which were *** and ***. arrrgghh dont know if i could share this with u.. (dear readers, dont mad - anyway, mekasih kerana melayan this girl).. and the feeling went on until the 3rd day of Raya. :-|
